I couldn't believe my eyes when Charles walked in the house after my husband collected him from the childminders. My stomach filled with butterflies and my eyes filled with tears. How did I create such a handsome, amazing little boy. The hat and scarf were knitted by his nanny and were sent in a surprise package yesterday. He looked so stylish today and so grown up. I'm so very proud of him.

I used to wear 2 rings on this hand. Both were white gold.
When I became pregnant with Charles my body seemed to decide that it didn't like white gold anymore. In the 3 years that have passed I've tried to wear these rings again but each time they just irritate my skin leaving the area underneath the ring sore and blistered.
Today I thought about getting another ring to sit on a finger that hand. My mum popped round and I spotted that she had 2 of my favourite rings on. One Sapphire wishbone and one rose gold band. I asked if I could look at the rose gold band and try it on. She reluctantly took it off and gave it to me saying that it would be too big. Except it wasn't and it fit me. Infact its a size too small probably but I like my rings to be a bit too small so they don't have any chance of falling off. With that she said I could keep the ring as long as I look after it and never take it off. I must treat it like my wedding ring. Agreed.
This ring is around 90 years old and was my great nannies wedding ring. I think its beautiful and am honoured to wear it.

I wasn't going to include a photo of one of the boys today but I couldn't resist. Infact, I am including 2 photos...because I can!
The first photo is supposed to be Charles' sad face.
The second photo was taken when Harry woke for the day at 10.45. Lucky me? Not quite. He's been using me as a dummy all night so hadn't really slept properly. I love his bedhead.

The best big brothers help to dress their baby brother.
disclaimer: Harry is not crying. I never take photos of my boys when they cry.

my mum reminded me this morning that I had 2 free tickets to the circus so we (me, my husband and the boys) went to the 5.30 show. It was fab and both of the boys enjoyed themselves. Harry seemed to love it more than Charles!
I'll be writing about the circus soon on my Real Housewife of Suffolk County blog.
This is Charles' "I'm about to run off" face. He kept wanting to "go have a dance" in the ring and didn't quite understand that it wasnt a dance floor, especially as there were 'dancing lights' and a disco ball.
Check out his lovely hoody too.

With colds almost gone and the weather a bit better than it has been we ventured into the garden for a bit this afternoon.
Harry went in the swing for the first time and Charles showed him how you go up and down the slide like a pro.
